MINUTES
COUNCIL MEETING
SPECIAL
MAY 28, 1974
The meeting was called to order by the Mayor at 8:30 A.M.
Present: Mayor Daily, Trustees Graphenteen and McElmury
Absent: Trustees Akin and Kuchera
Also Present: Administrator Ford and Engineer Blaisdell
The minutes of 5/16/74 were deferred to the next meeting.
The council discussed with Mr. Matt Fischer of Fischer Construction Company
their low bid on Contract 1974-2.
The council informed Fischer Construction that if awarded, they could work late
or night-time hours in the interest of expediting the completion of the work
with minimum disruption to the downtown merchants. Some materials, it was de-
cided, might have to be substituted but did not appear to present a significant
problem.
Motion by McElmury, second by Graphenteen to adopt resolution #R53-74 awarding
contract #1974-2 to Fischer Construction Company. APIF, motion carried.
Motion by Daily, second by Graphenteen to adopt resolution #R49-74 amending the
1974 Budget. APIF, motion carried.
Motion made and carried to adjourn at 9:55 A.M.
