MINUTES
COUNCIL MEETING
SPECIAL
OCTOBER 31, 1974
The Mayor called the meeting to order at 7:30 P.M.
Present: Mayor Daily, Trustees Akin, Graphenteen, Kuchera, McElmury
Also Present: Administrator Ford
The Mayor explained the purpose of the special meeting which had been set at the
council meeting of October 21, was to interview the three final candidates who
had applied for the position of Liquor Store Manager. He further explained that
the three final selectees had been identified and purpose of the meeting was to
interview all three following their completion of a short questionaire.
The report of the Chief of Police was given to the council indicating that a
satisfactory background check had been completed on the three final applicants.
The council then proceeded to interview the three final applicants as follows:
7:00 P.M. Jack E. Gergen
7:30 P.M. Gordon Bezdichek
8:00 P.M. Paul J. Asher
There was a discussion period following each interview session. And at the con-
clusion of the interviews and the discussions the Mayor asked each council member
to write the name of his designated choice. Following this indication, Motion
by McElmury, second by Graphenteen that Mr. Paul J. Asher be appointed as Te
new Municipal Liquor Store Manager at a starting salary of $928.00 per month
Effective November 4, 1974. APIF, motion carried.
Motion made and carried to adjourn at 9:30 P.M.
