MINUTES
COUNCIL MEETING
SPECIAL
NOVEMBER 15, 1974
The meeting was called to order by the Mayor at 12:00 Noon
Present: Mayor Daily, Trustees Graphenteen, Kuchera, McElmury
Absent: Trustee Akin
The Mayor explained that the specific purpose of the special meeting which had
been set at the previous meeting was to review applications submitted under
the newly adopted Sunday Liquor Sales Ordinance. The Mayor read for the record
the following actions that had been taken:
.Aug 19, 1974 The council set the date for a special election on the
question of Sunday Liquor Sales.
Nov 05, 1974 The election was held
Nov 11, 1974 The council sitting as a canvassing Board declared the
results of the special election to be in the affirmative.
Nov 11, 1974 The council adopted a Sunday Liquor Sales Ordinance.
Nov 14, 1974 The above ordinance was published in the Dakota County
Tribune.
Motion by Graphenteen, second by Kuchera that the application for Sunday Liquor
On-sale license of Black Stallion West, Inc. , be approved. APIF, motion carried.
Motion made and carried to adjourn at 12:06 P.M.
