COUNCIL MINUTES
SPECIAL
MAY 2, 1975
The meeting was called to order by the Mayor at 7:30 P.M.
Present: Mayor Daily, Councilmen Akin, Johnson, McElmury
Absent: Councilman Kuchera
Also Present: Administrator Ford
The Mayor took note of a mailed notice of special meeting to each of the
members.
The Council spent the entire evening reviewing the bids which had been re-
ceived on Project 75-5, Contract 1975-1, Multi-purpose Arena, at 2:00 P.M.
April 28, 1975. Various alternatives available to the council were dis-
cussed. Taking part in the exchange of ideas were Project Manager Leon Orr
and consulting engineer Norris Breivik. Considerable discussion hinged
around the possibility of again going out for new bids and writing the
specifications around a wood truss ceiling. It was agreed that the Mayor
and Mr. Orr would spend all of the next day looking into this possibility
and would then report back to the council their findings at the meeting of
May 5, 1975.
Motion made and carried to adjourn at 9:00 P.M.
