COUNCIL MINUTES
SPECIAL
JANUARY 8, 1976
1. The meeting was called to order by the Mayor at 4:00 P.M.
Present: Mayor Daily, Councilmen Akin, Kuchera, McElmury
Absent: Councilman Johnson
Also Present: Attorney Paul Magnuson, and Tim Kuntz
2. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss certain points raised by the Adminis-
trator relative to the final document encompassing the out-of-court settlement
in the lawsuit of Lamppa Vs City of Farmington.
3. Attorney's for the City satisfied the council that the language and content
of the final agreement lent the maximum protection to the city and it was in the
best interest of the city to execute the same.
4. It was the consensus of the council that the action taken at the last meeting
authorizing and directing the city Administrator to execute the agreement and the
releases and to issue the appropriate drafts shall stand.
5. Motion made and carried to adjourn at 4:30 P.M.
