COUNCIL MEETING
SPECIAL
SEPTEMBER 6, 1977
1. The meeting was called to order by the Acting Mayor at 8:00 P.M.
Present: Acting Mayor Kuchera, Councilmen Johnson, McEhnury, Whittier
Absent: Mayor Akin
Also Present: Administrator Ford, Attorney Gorgos, Engineer Blaisdell
2. This meeting was an Executive Session held on a Lawyer-Client basis to deal
with the crisis involving the matching of grades between the municipally furnished
sewer line and the new Dakota Electric Association building at 4300 220th Street W.
3. The Council authorized a proposed solution to be conveyed to REA.
4. The Council also discussed with the City Attorney the trial of the Neilen Vs
City of Farmington condemnation matter scheduled for the next day September 7,
1977 and gave the City Attorney guidance in the matter.
5. A record of the proceedings were made and are in the possession of the City
Attorney.
6. Motion made and seconded to adjourn at 9:10 P.M.
