REGULAR MEETING
February 22,2022
1. CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order by EDA Chair Wilson at 6:00 p.m.
2. ROLL CALL
Members Present: Hoyt,Lien,Wilson
Members Absent: Bernhjelm,Porter
Staff Present: Lynn Gorski,Assistant City Administrator,Samantha DiMaggio,
Community Development Director.
3. APPROVEAGENDA
MOTION by Hoyt,second by Lien to approve the Agenda.APIF,MOTION CARRIED.
4. CONSENT AGENDA
a) Meeting Minutes(January 18,2022)
b)Monthly Financial Statement
MOTION by Hoyt,second by Lien to approve the Consent Agenda.APIF,MOTION CARRIED.
5. DISCUSSION ITEMS
a)Appointment of Chair and Vice Chair
MOTION by Hoyt,second by Lien to Appoint Steve Wilson as Chair of the EDA.APIF,MOTION
CARRIED.
MOTION by Hoyt,second by Wilson to Appoint Nick Lien as Vice Chair of the EDA.APIF,
MOTION CARRIED.
b.Amendment of the EDA By-Laws
MOTION by Hoyt,second by Lien to approve the Amendment of the EDA By-laws.APIF,
MOTION CARRIED.
c.2022 Business Subsidy Policy Update
Staff is recommending the EDA review the Business Subsidy Policy to ensure that it meets the
economic development goals of the City and the requirements of the Business Subsidy Act The
EDA started their discussion on the policy and will continue it at the next meeting.
