REGULAR WATER BOARD MEETING
Monday, February 28, 2022
5:00 PM

City Hall 430 Third Street Farmington, MN
Members Present: Weierke, Snobeck, Cordes
Members Absent: None
Staff Present: Matt Decur, Assistant City Engineer.
Others Present: None
Call to Order: The meeting was called to order by Chair Weierke at 5:01 p.m.
1. Election of Officers
Motion by Snobeck second by Cordes to nominate Member Weierke as Chair for the Water
Board. Voting for: Snobeck, Cordes. Abstain: Weierke. Motion Carried.
2. Approve Minutes –
a. November 22, 2021- Motion by Cordes second by Wierke to approve minutes as
presented. APIF, Motion Carried.
3. New Business
a. Engineer Decur reviewed and discussed the Open Meeting Law with the members.
Informational only.
4. Approve Bills
a. Approve Bills – Motion by Weierke second by Snobeck to approve the bills from
October 18, 2021, to November 15, 2021, as presented, in the amount of $29,225.86.
APIF, Motion Carried.
b. Approve Bills – Motion by Weierke second by Snobeck to approve the bills from
November 15, 2021, to February 23, 2022, as presented, in the amount of $161,883.62.
APIF, Motion Carried.
5. Open Forum – Project & Information Update
a. Water Efficiency Rebate Program – More discussions will follow.
b. Other – Members asked for an update on the new water tower at next month’s
meeting.
6. Adjourn – Motion by Weierke, second by Snobeck to adjourn at 5:31 PM. APIF, Motion Carried.
