1. Approve Minutes –
a. June 28, 2021- Motion by Cordes second by Snobeck to approve minutes as presented.
Motion Carried.
2. New Business
a. State Drought Warning – Director Gehler provided the Board an update of the DNR
issued drought warning and referenced the letter. Municipal water suppliers are being
asked to implement conservation measures to try to achieve the January plus 50%
water usage. The city has turned off all city owned irrigation and will provide increased
outreach regarding water conservation. If the DNR moves to the next level, Drought
Emergency, the city will have to consider more stringent efforts to achieve the January
plus 50% water usage as highlighted in the notice. Should this occur, the Water Board
would need to consider putting in place more stringent water use restrictions that could
include a full irrigation ban through the Emergency Restriction provision in the Water
Use Restriction policy. Motion by Snobeck second by Cordes to approve Resolution
R01-21, A Resolution Enacting Emergency Water Use Restrictions in Response to a State,
County or Local Drought Emergency Declaration and directing staff to implement
restrictions as appropriate. APIF, Motion Carried.

amount of $56,890.39. APIF, Motion Carried.
