REGULAR WATER BOARD MEETING
Monday, March 28, 2016
7:00 PM
Conference Room 170
City Hall 430 Third Street Farmington, MN
Members Present: Weierke, Jensen, Snobeck
Members Absent: None
Staff Present: Kevin Schorzman, P.E., City Engineer, Sue Miller, Administrative Assistant
Call to Order: The meeting was called to order by Chair Weierke at 7:00 p.m.
1. Approve Minutes - February 22, 2016 – Motion by Snobeck second by Weierke to approve the minutes as
presented. APIF, Motion Carried.
2. Continued Business –
a. Seal Coating Well Sites - Motion by Snobeck second by Weierke to include crack sealing of the
well sites previously approved for seal coating. The increased cost will be approx. $700.00 for an
estimated project cost of $6165.10. APIF, Motion Carried.
3. New Business –
a. Water Restriction Enforcement Position - The consensus of the board was to offer the position to
Domonique Wright who has held the position for the last 2 years. If accepted, it will be on the April
agenda for board approval.
4. Approve Bills – Motion by Weierke second by Snobeck to approve the bills in the amount of $31,180.46.
APIF, Motion Carried.
5. Open Forum – Member Jensen noted that the resident at 19 Spruce Street contacted him about his water bills
for the last several months. The board had some discussion and decided to have the water meter checked and
if it is determined that it is functioning properly, the meter will be reinstalled.
6. Adjourn – Motion by Jensen second by Snobeck to adjourn at 8:05PM. APIF, Motion Carried.
