COUNCIL MEETING
SPECIAL
JANUARY 9, 1996
1. The meeting was called to order by Acting Mayor Galler at 7:35 P.M..
Members Present: Galler, Garner, Fitch, Ristow.
Members Absent: Kuchera.
Also Present: Interim City Administrator Finstuen, James Brimeyer and
Pam Wunderlich from The Brimeyer Group.
2. The purpose of the meeting was to review the backgrounds and
qualifications of a list of candidates for the position of City
Administra~r. The list was prepared by The Brimeyer Group and
consisted of 13 applicants which had been selected from the 65 positive
responses to the position. The 13 applicants were narrowed down to
6 candidates who will be invited to tour the City and its facilities
on February 9, 1996. A reception will be held on that same day from
3:45 P.M. to 4:45 P.M. for community leaders and members, Department
Heads and staff to meet the candidates. Later in the day, the City
Council will attend another reception for the candidates. The
candidates wi~l be interviewed by the City Council on February 10~h.
3. A motion was made and seconded to adjourn at 8:50 P.M..
