MINUTES
COUNCIL MEETING
SPECIAL
JANUARY 13, 1996
1. The meeting was called to order at 8:00 A.M. by Acting Mayor Galler.
Members Present: Galler, Gamer, Ristow.
Members Absent: Kuchera, Fitch.
Also Present: Interim Administrator Finstuen.
2. The Council interviewed the applicants for the various seats on Boards and
Commissions. The Council recommended the following appointments:
Planning: Todd Larson, Robert Schwing, Steve Strachan.
Parks and Recreation: Dawn Johnson, John Richardson, Roxie Karelis.
Water Board: Marvin Wier.
Heritage Preservation: Brenda Poirier.
Senior Center Advisory: Grace Anderson, Martha Graham.
3. It was the consensus of the Council to add the appointments on to the agenda for
the January 16, 1996 regular meeting as a consent item; to call all of the
applicants; and to send letters of notification Wednesday morning.
4. Discussion took place regarding increasing the number of members on the Parks and
Recreation Advisory Commission from 5 to 7. Parks and Recreation Director Bell was
directed to look into making the change.
5. MOTION by Gamer, second by Ristow to adjourn at 11:37 A.M..
