MINUTES
COUNCIL MEETING
SPECIAL JOINT SESSION WITH EMPIRE TOWNSHIP
NOVEMBER 2, 1995
1. The meeting was called to order by Acting Mayor Ristow at 7:30 P.M..
Members Present: Ristow, Galler, Gamer, Fitch.
Members Absent: Kuchera.
2. Discussion centered on the boundaries. Because of the alignment
of the Prairie Waterway, it was felt that this would be a more
appropriate boundary to the east of Trunk Highway 3 and south of County
Road 66.
3. It was decided to discuss the future extension of 208th Street at
a future date due to the hurdles currently involved in making it a reality.
4. Dean Johnson was instructed to develop a revised set of Points of
Understanding which would be forwarded to the Council and Empire Township
Board for r.eview by Friday, November 3rd. After that, selected members
of the Council and Township Board would meet to discuss any comments or
changes prior to the next scheduled meeting.
5. The next meeting was scheduled for November 7, 1995 at 8:00 P.M..
