MINUTES
COUNCIL MEETING
SPECIAL
NOVEMBER 27, 1995
1. Mayor Kuchera called the meeting to order at 6:00 P.M..
Members Present: Kuchera, Galler, Ristow, Gamer, Fitch,
Members Absent: None.
Also Present: Interim City Administrator Finstuen
2. The Council discussed the process for interviewing the candidate, Gerald
Henricks, for the position of Economic Development Director. It was noted that the
other applicant had rescinded his application for the position,
3. Mr. Henricks was queetioned in depth regarding the background of the Industrial
Park and his goals and visions for retail growth and continued industrial/commercial
growth.
4, The Council reviewed actions taken at previous meetings which resulted in the
current hiring process. Councilmembers stated that they wished to listen to the
recordings of those meetings to revisit the discussions which took place, They also
discussed articles which had been printed in the newspaper which they felt lead to
the other applicant's request to rescind his application. Discussion took place
regarding sending a letter of apology to the applicant, however, no action was taken
and the matter was placed on the agenda for the next regular meeting on December 4th.
s. MOTION by Galler, second by Fitch to adjourn at 7:16 P.M.. APIF, MOTION CARRIED.
