MINUTES
COUNCIL MEETING
SPECIAL
AUGUST 23, 1994
1. Mayor Kuchera called the meeting to order at 7:00 P.M. at the
South Suburban Medical Center.
Members Present: Kuchera, Ristow, Orr, Rotty, Galler.
Members Absent: None.
Also Present: Administrator Thompson.
2. Councilmember Galler presented an overview of the purpose of this
informational meeting of the East Farmington PUD and prairie Waterway.
Presentations were given by the following:
Rod Hardy, Vice President of Sienna Corporation gave the back-
ground of Sienna and an overview of the project.
Charles Tooker, City Planner, discussed the evolution of the
project, and the down sizing from approximately 740 units to 557
units.
Tom Kaldunski, City Engineer talked about the relationship of the
East Farmington project to the other projects undertaken by the
City.
Mustafa Emir, City Consulting Engineer, reviewed the design of
the Prairie Waterway.
Ron Peterson, Environmental Consultant, gave the status of the
permits.
Jerry Shannon, City Financial Consultant, reviewed the proposed
TIF plan.
After the presentations, the meeting was opened to questions and an-
swers. Since not all questions could be answered due to time con-
straints, it was agreed that the questions and answers would be type-
written and made available at City Hall.
2. MOTION by Rotty, second by Ristow to adjourn at 9:15 P.M. APIF,
MOTION CARRIED.
