MINUTES
COUNCIL MEETING
SPECIAL
SEPTEMBER 12, 1994
1. Mayor Kuchera called the meeting to order at 7:00 P.M..
Members Present: Kuchera, Ristow, Rotty, Galler.
Members Absent: Orr.
Also Present: Administrator Thompson, Finance Director Henneke.
2. The purpose of the meeting was to certify the 1995 preliminary
proposed levy and budget and to establish the date of the Truth
in Taxation hearing.
3. Finance Director Henneke reviewed the budget and levy as noted
in his September 7, 1994 memo. Councilmember Galler noted that
the levy recommended by the Finance Committee was the maximum levy.
MOTION by Ristow, second by Galler to adopt RESOLUTION NO. R117-94
adopting a proposed budget and establishing the proposed tax levy
for the year 1995 collectible as follows:
Debt Levy $ 459,201.00
General Levy 1,330,466.00
Gross Levy 1,789,667.00
1995 HACA [391,012.00]
Total Levy $ 1,398,655.00
and to set the Truth in Taxation Hearing for December 1, 1994 at
7:00 P.M. and, if continued, on December 19, 1994 at 7:00 P.M..
APIF, MOTION CARRIED.
4. MOTION by Rotty, second by Galler to adjourn at 5:15 P.M.. APIF,
MOTION CARRIED.
