MINUTES
COUNCIL MEETING
SPECIAL
JANUARY 23, 1993
1. Mayor Kuchera called the meeting to order at 8:00 A.M..
Members Present: Kuchera, Ristow, Rotty, Galler.
Members Absent: Orr.
Also Present: Administrator Thompson.
2. The purpose of the meeting was to interview candidates for the various Boards
and Commissions. The following applicants were interviewed:
a. Willard Barnett - Planning Commission,
b. Dennis Gramentz - Planning Commission,
c. Marvin Wier - Water Board,
d. Andrew Bieber - Planning Commission,
e. Thomas Murphy - PARAC,
f. Gordon Trygstad - Senior Center Advisory Council,
g. Hilda Larsen - Senior Center Advisory Council,
h. Diane Dau - Planning Commission.
3. MOTION by Rotty, second by Kuchera to reappoint Gordon Trygstad and Hilda
Larsen to the Senior Center Advisory Council. APIF, MOTION CARRIED.
4. MOTION by Rotty, second by Kuchera to reappoint Marvin Wier to the Water
Board. APIF, MOTION CARRIED.
5. MOTION by Kuchera, second by Ristow to reappoint Tom Murphy to the PARAC.
APIF, MOTION CARRIED.
6. A lengthy discussion followed regarding the Planning Commission appointment
noting the strength of each candidate.
7. MOTION by Galler, second by Kuchera to reappoint Dennis Gramentz to the Planning
Commission. VOTING FOR: Galler, Kuchera, Ratty. AGAINST: Ristow. MOTION
CARRIED .
8. MOTION by Galler, second by Ristow to appoint Andrew Bieber to the Planning
Commission. VOTING FOR: Kuchera, Galler, Ristow. AGAINST: Ratty. MOTION
CARRIED.
9. MOTION by Rotty, second by Kuchera to appoint Craig Schlawin to the PARAC
contingent upon him accepting the appointment. APIF, MOTION CARRIED.
10. MOTION by Galler, second by Ristow to adjourn at 11:00 A.M.. APIF, MOTION
CARRIED.
