MINUTES
COUNCIL MEETING
SPECIAL
JUNE 28, 1993
1. Mayor Kuchera called the meeting to order at 7:00 P.M..
Members Present: Kuchera, Ristow, Orr, Rotty, Galler.
Members Absent: None.
Also Present: Administrator Thompson, Administrative Assistant Finstuen,
Finance Director Henneke, Parks and Recreation Director Bell.
2. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the City's strategic plan.
Administrator Thompson presented an overview of the process as outlined in
the June 24, 1993 memo. A lengthy discussion followed. It was agreed that
the strategic plan should be completed and that the Council should focus
on critical issues, results areas, visions and strategies and staff should
focus on projects, program schedules and ClP.
3. The Council agreed to meet on July 6, 1993 at 6:00 P.M. before the regular
meeting to review the Mission Statement (blue sheets).
4. The Council briefly reviewed Mt. Dew Days.
5. MOTION by Galler, second by Rotty to adjourn at 9:32 P.M.. APIF, MOTION
CARRIED .
