The Council and Water Board discussed the following and reached the following consensus. Water Rates Council's concern is that before metering citizens are paying $29/quarter and after metering the average bill should be $29 per quarter. It was the consensus of the Council and Water Board to read the meters on December 15, 1993 and bill April 1, 1994. The finances of the Water Enterprise Fund should be analyzed for one year and, if needed, the rates should be adjusted either up or down. Reservoir The reservoir may be budgeted in the CIP at a later date because of the implementation of water meters. Wells Bob Shirley stated the City will need another well in 2-3 years.
