MINUTES
COUNCIL MEETING
SPECIAL
MAY 30, 1991
1. Mayor Kuchera called the meeting to order at 7:00 P.M.
Members Present: Kuchera, Mayer, Orr.
Members Absent: Derington, Galler.
2. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the City's Mission Statement. The
Council agreed to inspect Jerry Ristow's property regarding restoration work for
Project 87-7. The Council adjourned to inspect Mr. Ristow's property.
3. The Council reconvened at 7:45 P.M. A brief discussion followed regarding the
Ristow property. It was agreed to place the matter on the June 3rd agenda.
4. Councilmember Galler arrived at 8:00 P.M.
5. The Council next discussed the City's Mission Statement. The Council and staff
listed various aspects of what they would like the City to be. The Council directed
the City Administrator to draft a proposed Mission Statement based on the lists developed
at the May 16th and May 30th special meetings.
6. MOTION by Mayer, second by Orr that Councilmember Derington represent the City
at the June 3, 1991 MAC Regional Airport meeting. VOTING FOR: Mayer, Orr, Kuchera.
ABSTAIN: }l~Ofi. MOTION CARRIED.
7. MOTION by Orr, second by Mayer to adjourn at 11:00 P.M. APIF, MOTION CARRIED.
