MINUTES
COUNCIL MEETING
SPECIAL
JULY 22, 1991
1. Mayor Kuchera called the meeting to order at 7:30 P.M.
Members Present: Kuchera, Mayer, Orr, Derington, Galler.
Members Absent: None.
Also Present: Administrator Thompson, Administrative Assistant Finstuen.
2. The purpose of the meeting was to interview candidates for the Planner's position.
Administrative Assistant Finstuen informed the Council that Kim Lee had withdrawn.
The Council interviewed Charles Tooker and Will Neumeister.
3. Councilmember Mayer left at 9:30 P.M.
4. A lengthy discussion followed regarding the merits of each candidate. It
was the consensus of the Council that staff complete a background check on
Mr. Neumeister and report back at the July 25, 1991 special meeting.
5. Councilmember Orr noted that per the Public Works Director's memo regarding
MSA/FAU Funding, that the City should concentrate on acquiring property and related
engineering for Essex Avenue south of 195th Street.
6. MOTION by Galler, second by Orr to adjourn at 10:00 P.M. APIF, MOTION CARRIED.
