MINUTES
COUNCIL MEETING
SPECIAL
SEPTEMBER 10, 1991
1. Mayor Kuchera called the meeting to order at 7:00 P.M.
Members Present: Kuchera, Mayer, Orr, Galler.
Members Absent: Derington.
Also Present: Administrator Thompson.
2. The purpose of the meeting was to consider the proposed bids for the Middle
School Project (No. 91-10) as follows:

3. Engineer Kaldunski informed the Council that the only way MSA funds could
be obtained for the project would be an uncontested annexation of the property
between the City limits and TH 3. MOTION by Mayer, second by Galler to adopt
RESOLUTION NO. R81-91 awarding the base bid of $964,537.02 and Alternate #1 of
$22,409.60 to Arcon Construction Company, Inc.. APIF, MOTION CARRIED.
4. Staff was directed to inform the contractor that a change order may be required
to delay the road construction until Spring and to contact the Empire Township
Chairman regarding possible annexation.
5. MOTION by Orr, second by Mayer to adjourn at 7:15 P.M. APIF, MOTION CARRIED.
