MINUTES
COUNCIL MEETING
SPECIAL
APRIL 18, 1990
1. Mayor Kuchera called the meeting to order at 7:00 P.M.
Members Present: Kuchera, Mayer, McKnight, Sprute.
Members Absent: Galler.
Also Present: Administrator Thompson.
2. The purpose of the meeting was to rate positions for the City's Compensation
Plan and to discuss the Rod Hahn matter.
3. It was the consensus of the Council that they rate positions one factor at a
time. The following is each Councilmember's rating under Know How after discussion.
(It should be noted that actual ratings were not acted on because of potential
deadlocks.)

A lengthy discussion followed regarding the ratings and how they may impact ratings
in other departments.
4. It was the consensus that the next Compensation meeting be held on May 9, 1990
at 7:00 P.M.
5. The Council adjourned into executive session to consider the Rod Hahn matter.
6. MOTION by Sprute, second by McKnight to adjourn at 9:05 P.M.
