Administrator Thompson stated that he would prepare an update of the position bench-
marks for the next Compensation meeting for review and possible adjustment by the
Council.
5. The Council next considered the 1991 Operating Budget. Administrator Thompson
and Finance Director Henneke presented an overview of the budget, noting that the
Debt Service portion had not been completed at this time, and that the Council
should focus on the 5 Year CIP because of anticipated major expenditures.
Councilmember Sprute asked how the special levy for the fire fighters pension had
been determined. Mr. Thompson indicated that since the City Council had not received
the pension request, it was only an estimate, but would be changed once the Council
had adopted the 1991 pension benefits.
6. MOTION by Galler, second by Kuchera to adjourn at 9:15 P.M. APIF, MOTION CARRIED.
Respectfully submitted,
