MINUTES
COUNCIL MEETING
SPECIAL
NOVEMBER 27, 1990
1. Mayor Kuchera called the meeting to order at 7:00 P.M.
Members Present: Kuchera, Mayer, Galler.
Members Absent: McKnight, Sprute.
Also Present: Administrator Thompson.
2. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the 1991 Operating Budget. Administrator
Thompson presented an overview of the budget noting various highlights. Finance
Director Henneke presented the impact of the proposed tax levy on property taxes.
Mr. Henneke also outlined the action required by the Council.
3. The Council reviewed the budget. Some of the areas of discussion were:
a. Programmer's position,
b. township participation in various activities,
c. Fire Marshal's position,
d. vehicles,
e. park improvements - reduce Pine Knoll and add to Fair Hills,
f. park shelter in Evergreen Knoll.
4. The Council directed staff to update the budget with the noted changes and staff
recommendations to balance the budget and report back to the Council.
5. MOTION by Galler, second by Mayer to adjourn at 9:20 P.M. APIF, MOTION CARRIED.
