MINUTES
COUNCIL MEETING
SPECIAL
JANUARY 11, 1982
1. The purpose of the meeting was to be used as a work session to discuss
with members of the Fire Department the list of possible future fire facility
locations based on the report of a two man committee appointed by the Council
earlier.
2. The Mayor called the meeting to order at 7:00 P.M.
Present: Mayor Stegmaier, Councilmembers Cook, Kelly, Kuchera, Orr
Absent: None
Also Present: Administrator Ford
3. The report of the Committee listed approximately 17 possible locations
with a recommendation for further consideration of 4 sites. After a
lengthy exchange of ideas and opinions among the membe~s in attendance
from the Fire Department and the Council it was decided that the following
potential sites be subjected to further study:

4. Motion by Kelly, second by Kuchera that upon the recommendation of the
Fire Department Advisory Elections that the following appointments be approved:
David Pietsch
Ron Royce
APIF, motion carried.
Fire Chief
- Assistant Fire Chief
5. The Council set a special meeting for February 22, 1982, at 7:00 P.M.
as a work session to consider the studies regarding potential fire facility
sites.
6. Motion by Orr, second by Kelly to adopt Resolution No. R2-82 which sets
the public hearing for 7:00 P.M., January 25, 1982, to consider approving
the action of the Farmington HRA and amending the Farmington Redevelopment
Plan, Tax Increment District. APIF, motion carried.
7. Motion made and seconded to adjourn at 8:45 P.M.
