COUNCIL MEETING
SPECIAL
SEPTEMBER 13, 1982
1. The Mayor called the meeting to order
Present: Mayor Stegmaier, Councilmembers
Absent: None

at 7:00 P.M.
Cook, Kelly, Kuchera, Orr.
Administrator Ford, Finance Director Henneke
2. The purpose of this meeting was to conduct a work session meeting with
the Department Heads concerning the 1983 proposed budget:
7:30 P.M. - Fire Chief Dave Pietsch
8: 15 P.M. - Park & Recreation Director Jim Be 11
8:40 P.M. - Pol ice Chief Stan Whittingham
9:20 P.M. - General Services Superintendent Bill Hince
9:55 P.M. - Liquor Manager Paul Asher
All Department Heads were informed that the Council would make no
decisions this night but would take under advisement comments and
suggestions and requests for changes made by the Deparment Heads.
3. Motion by Kelly, second by Cook approving of the total costs for
improvements under Special Assessment Fund No. 6-17-82 in the amount
of $78,377.79 to be assessed in accordance with the appropriate benefits
derived, and that the staff hereby be authorized and directed to prepare
the necessary assessment rolls for certification to the County to be
presented to the Council at a future meeting. APIF, motion carried.
4. The Administrator requested and suggested to the Council that they
consider meeting in a joint meeting with the Farmington HRA at 7:00 P.M.
on September 15, 1982 at which time both bodies could be brought up to
date concerning the negotiations being conducted with possible new
developers and builders, bringing them into the City under a tax increment
financed project. The Council agreed that they would meet and called a
special meeting for the purpose.
5. There was a motion and second by adjourn at 10:30 P.M.
