MINUTES
COUNCIL MEETING
SPECIAL
SEPTEMBER 13, 1979
1. The meeting was called to order by the Mayor at 7:00 P.M.
Present: Mayor Akin, Councilmen Johnson, Kuchera, Orr and Whittier
Also Present: Administrator Ford and Deputy Treasurer Wayne Henneke
2. Motion by Akin, second by Kuchera to set a public hearing for 7:30 P.M.,
October 1, 1979, to consider the vacating of an alley from 1st to 2nd, between
Oak and Spruce Streets. Publication and mailed notice to be accomplished. APIF,
motion carried.
3. The balance of the meeting was devoted to review of the 1980 proposed budget,
including:
1) Participation in the Shade tree disease control program.
2) Establishment of the position of mechanic.
3) Establishment of the part time position of Billing Clerk.
4) Cost of ambulance subsidy.
5) General Services Capital Outlay
6) Fire Department Capital Outlay
7) Police Capital Outlay
8) Police Reserve Program
9) Park and Rec Capital Outlay
10) Municipal Services Refund
4. The council took not that there would be another meeting of the council on
Monday September 17, 1979, 7:00 P.M.
5. Motion made and seconded to adjourn at 10:00 P.M.
