MINUTES
COUNCIL MEETING
SPEC IAL
SEPTEMBER 29, 1980
1. The meeting was called to order by Mayor Akin at 7:00 P.M.
Present: Mayor Akin, Councilmen Cook, Kuchera, Orr and Whittier
Absent: None
Also Present: Administrator Ford and Deputy Treasurer Henneke
2. At 7:00 P. M. the Council opened the public hearing which had been continued
from the meeting of September 22, 198~ regarding the final adoption of the 1981
Budget at it relates to the compliance with Federal Revenue Sharing Rules. There
being no one present to speak on the matter the public hearing was closed at
7:05 P.M. and the Council proceeded to review the final draft of the 1981 Budget.
Minor changes were made to the final draft.
3. Motion by Kuchera, second by Orr to adopt RESOLUTION NO. R24-80, which
adopts the 1981 Budget for the City of Farmington and authorizes and directs
the certification of the 1981 levy to the Dakota County Auditor. APIF, motion
carried.
4. Motion made and seconded to adjourn at 8:00 P.M.
