MINUTES
COUNCIL MEETING
SPECIAL
DECEMBER 8, 1980
I. The meeting was called to order at 8:00 P.M. by the Mayor.
Present: Mayor Akin, Councilmen Cook, Kuchera, Orr, Whittier
Also Present: General Services Superintendent Hince, Liquor Manager Asher,
Police Chief Metcalf, Recreation Manager Bell and Deputy Treas-
urer Henneke
2. This special meeting was set at the Council Meeting of December 1, 1980
for the sole purpose of reviewing the proposed personnel policy. The Council
then discussed the policy and a memo from the department heads that reflected
changes that they were requesting. The changes were incorporated in the plan.
3. The Mayor called a short recess.
4. The Counci I then reviewed the policy with the above changes and made a
few additional changes. The Mayor asked that the final draft of the personnel
policy be placed on the agenda of December 15, 1980 for approval.
5. Comp time that is presently on the books for the department heads was
di scussed..
6. Motion made and seconded to adjourn at 10:30 P.M.
