Present: Councilmembers Cook, Kelly, Kuchera, Orr (The person listed above as Kelly is the same person who is listed as Cummings in previous minutes.) Absent: Mayor Stegmaier Also Present: Administrator Ford 2. Motion by Cook, second by Kuchera to approve the minutes of June 1, 1981 with the following correction: on page 2, paragraph 12, line 4, change "Engineer'l to "Attorney". APIF, motion carried. 3. Bids had been taken at 2:00 P.M. this afternoon on three contracts within the 1981 Public Improvement Construction Schedule. The Engineer presented to the Council a complete tabulation of all the bids on those three contracts, copies of which appear in the contract files. The three lowest bidders and the Engineer1s estimate on each contract, as presented to the Council by the Engineer were as follows: CONTRACT 1981-1 1. Austin P. Keller Construction 2. Richard Knutson, Inc. 3. Thomas Montgomery Engineer's Estimate: CONTRACT 1981-2 1. Fischer Construction 2. Al Minnerath, Inc. 3. Richard Knutson, Inc. Engineer's Estimate: CONTRACT 1981-3 1. B-TU-MIX Construction 2. M. Danner Trucking 3. McNamara Vivant Engineer1s Estimate: BASE ALTERNATE $329,005.00 332,723.00 335,212.75 $ 48 1 , 715 . 00 $13,465.00 20,031.00 14,481.00 BASE $ 25,280.00 27,272.50 28,034.50 $34,745.00 BASE $ 87,685.50 90,697.75 92,197.75 $92,450.00 It was mutually agreed upon by members of the Council that no action would be taken on these bids at this meeting but would be deferred to a special meeting on June 18, 1981 at which time the Mayor would again be present. 4. Motion by Kuchera, second by Kelly to approve the payment of the bills as presented. APIF, motion carried. 'f L;t 5. Mr. and Mrs. Lyell Yetzer appeared at the Council meeting, although not on the Agenda, to inquire about the status of their petition for municipal sewer service. They were told that the City Engineer had done the necessary field work and that they would shortly receive a letter from staff informing them as to whether or not they could be served, and all other information pertinent thereto. 6.
