Conduct interviews, discuss appointments, and direct the City Clerk to:
Confirm interest of each applicant selected by the City Council.
Request background investigations from the Police Department
for only the applicants who were selected.
Following a successful background investigation, forward the
names of finalists to the January 20, 2026 City Council agenda
for appointment to terms starting February 1, 2026.

Subject: Boards and Commissions Interviews
Meeting: Special Work Session - Dec 15 2025
INTRODUCTION:
Interviews will be conducted for open seats on the Parks & Recreation Advisory Board,
Rambling River Center Advisory Board, Water Board, and Planning Commission for terms
starting February 1, 2026.
DISCUSSION:
The City Council will conduct interviews for open seats on the following boards and
commissions:
Parks and Recreation Advisory Board: 2 open seats
Rambling River Center Advisory Board: 3 open seats
Water Board: 1 open seat
Planning Commission: 3 open seats
ACTION REQUESTED:
Conduct interviews, discuss appointments, and direct the City Clerk to:
Confirm interest of each applicant selected by the City Council.
Request background investigations from the Police Department for only the
applicants who were selected.
