MINUTES
WATER BOARD REGULAR MEETING
Monday, October 24, 2005
7:00 PM

The meeting was called to order at 7:00 PM
Members Present: Jensen, Krueger, Shirley
Staff Present: City Engineer Mann, Public Works Supervisor Weierke
The agenda was approved with the removal of Item Sa which is a duplicate of item 4c.

A motion was made by Shirley and seconded by Krueger to approve the minutes of September
26,2005. APIF, motion passed.
4.
Continued Discussion Items:
a) Well #8 Update: The Homeowner's association has planted trees on the well house lot. Due
to construction of well house #8 and grading, trees will have to be removed. Motion by
Krueger to allow the Homeowner's Association to move any trees they want at their own
expense, and the remaining trees to be at the Water Board's discretion. APIF, motion passed.
b) Water System Plan Update: Due to interest by developers in the southeast area of the city,
the water plan needs to be updated. Cost is approximately $15,000. Motion by Jensen and
seconded by Krueger to update the Water System Plan. APIF, motion passed.
c) Emergency Response Plan Revision: The Emergency Response Plan has been made more
user friendly. Board members are to review at their convenience and if they have any
comments refer them to City Engineer Mann.
5.
Bills: Krueger made a motion to approve bills in the amount of $77,019.76. Seconded by
Shirley. APIF, motion passed.
6.
Financial Report - was reviewed and accepted.
7.
Open Forum:
a) No items for open forum.
8. Meeting adjourned at 7:45pm.
