I had new sod delivered and installed on the 14th of Oct and was told to water right away. As a new Homeowner I am not going to let my 2500.00 investment die. htyway, I first found out about your watering poticy on tuesday evening Oct 18th when I got the mail, it had a ticket in there for watering on the 14th. I called and found out about your policy on the 19th and got my permit on the 20th. The next ticket I received was on the 19th evening for watering on the 17th. Again I wasn't even home til the 18th. so by the time I received. my first ticket I already had another one on the way. I think it's kinda funny how the tickets are mailed to you but your welcome to the community packet ( so I'm told) is sent to you in your Trash!. As A new homeowner here I think that's appauling. If you have such strict watering restrictions thel1 You need to let the homeowner .know via the Mail!, so they would be able to go get their free permit before they receive citations. I built with C&M right here in farmingtOn a ~I business and netther the city nor C&M bothered to tell me about the restrictions, that's just wrong. What a way to welcome someone to your cOm\TIunity . We recently moved into our new operating facility at 5119 W. 212* Sl andbave been attempting to comply with Farmington City and Industrial Park Board requiremen1s regarding outside landscaping before the winter months. We had new sod laid on Friday, November 4, and have been attempting to SUPPly sufficient water to the new sod before we receive freezing temperatures.
