MINUTES
WATER BOARD
REGULAR MEETING
November 22,1999
7:00 PM
1. The meeting was called to order by Acting Chair Krueger.
Members Present: Wier, Krueger
Also Present: City Engineer Mann
2. Agenda was approved
3. Motion by Krueger to approve the minutes of October 25, 1999 second by Wier. Motion carried.
4. Continued discussion items:
a) The pump house was discussed. The building is reasonably secured. The roof is in place. Some work needs
to be completed on the outside. Equipment in building will be completed as materials arrive.
b) Regarding water use restrictions, the policy as adopted by the Board was discussed. It was decided to give a
copy to the City Council for their review. The policy is to go into effect January 1,2000.
5. The rate study done by Engineer Mann was reviewed. The study did not indicate a need for changes in rate for
the immediate future. It was noted that collections for 1999 do not seem to be up the budgeted amount, but this
may have to do with bookkeeping method rather than collections. This information is to be brought to next
meeting.
6. A motion to approve bills as presented was made by Krueger and seconded by Wier. Total of bills will be added
to minutes at next meeting. Motion carried.
7. The financial report for October 31, 1999 was received and reviewed. There was concern that the report still
does not show that revenues are up to budget.
8. The Board was informed that the generator was delivered and is currently being stored in the water tower area.
Other storage was mentioned, but no action taken.
9. Meeting adjourned at 8:00 PM.
