HomeMy WebLinkAbout10/10/95 Special MINUTES WATER BOARD MEETING SPECIAL OCTOBER 10, 1995 1. The special meeting was called to consider making water available to certain residents now living in Empire Township who had applied for annexation to the City. The parcels in question were affected by the dewatering process used for the installation of the City of Farmington's Southeast Area Sanitary Sewer Trunk project. 2. MOTION by Wier, second by Shirley to adopt the following: a. persons requesting the extension of water service must submit an annexation petition; b. fees for extension of service are to be paid to the Water Board; c. the City Finance Director must provide a statement showing that fees are paid to the Water Board; d. residents are responsible for all fees to connect to service; e. a one inch (I") service will be provided from the existing main to the property line; f. if annexation does not occur prior to the January billing date, water service will be disconnected. APIF, MOTION CARRIED. It was noted that this variance to the Water Board's standard policy was being made due to the urgency of providing water to the affected properties prior to freezing conditions. 3.
