WATER BOARD MEETING
SPECIAL
DECEMBER 11, 1996
1. The meeting was called to order by Chair Shirley.
Members Present: Shirley, Chell, Wier.
Members Absent: None
Also Present: Public Works Director Kaldunski.
2. MOTION by Wier, second by Chell to authorize the purchase of
22.798 acres from Mr. Wenzel. The amount agreed upon was
$15,000.00 per acre. A down payment of $1,000.00 is to be made
with purchase agreement. All other costs are to be covered by
purchase agreement as well as dates for completion.
APIF, MOTION CARRIED.
3. A review of costs between agreed upon site and the Genstar
site was presented by Mr. Kaldunski. It was found that cost of
development of two sites was essentially equal. Such being the
case the Water Board would not ask council to make any payment to
Water Board because of choice of site #4.
