WATER BOARD MINUTES
SPECIAL MEETING
APRIL 14, 1997
The meeting was called to order by Chair Shirley.

The agenda was approved as presented.
The proposed water reservoir was discussed. The Water Board presented concerns
arding possible options. Further discussion will be necessary.
Mr.., Tim Giles and two of his associates were present to discuss the need for a 16 inch
er main through the Pine Ridge Forest development. Mr. Giles indicated that the
posed mains in the present plan were adequate to serve the needs of area residents. He
ther suggested that any overaizing be paid for by the Water Board since the purpose of
oversizing would be to serve future developments.
'ION by Shirley, second by Krueger to do the following:
Pay for the complete cost of the 16 inch main from the existing stub north of the water
tower to the connection directly south of Everton Court.
Pay for the complete cost of the 16 inch main on Eldorado Avenue between Exodus Avenue
and Everest Path.
Pay for the water main trunk oversizing from Everest Path west to the boundary of the
project. This would be a 20 inch main.
Pay for the trunk oversizing from the connection directly south of Everton Court to
Eldorado Avenue. This would be a 16 inch main.
Pay for the trunk oversizing along Everest Path from the south boundary of the project
to the north boundary of the project. This would be a 12" main.

There being no further business, the Board agreed to adjourn.
