MINUTES
WATER BOARD REGULAR MEETING
Monday, July 26, 2004
7:00 PM
The meeting was called to order at 7 :00 PM
Members Present: Shirley, Jensen, Krueger
Staff Present: City Engineer Mann, Public Works Supervisor Weierke, Finance Director
Roland
2. Agenda was approved as presented.

3. Motion by Shirley to approve the May minutes, seconded by Jensen. APIF, motion carried.
4. Water Use Restrictions - Citation Appeals
a) Eugene Burd, 19886 Emperor Court: Mr. Burd suggested to the board that aperson should
be allowed to water new sod anytime it is laid up to 24 hours afterwards. Citation stands as
issued.
b) Brenda Koenig, 18911 Embers Avenue: Not present. Correspondence reviewed, citation
stands as issued.
c) Cathy Katzenberger, 1113 Maple Street: Not present. Correspondence reviewed, citation
stands as issued.
d) Mrs. Jon Maier, 18935 English Avenue: Sprinkling system is new and they thought it had
been turned off, but it activated again. Emphasized that citizens should be given warnings.
Citation stands as issued.
5. Continued Discussion Items
a) East Farmington Fountain: The Board approved the contract for the water fountain with
East Farmington Association.
City Engineer Mann left for another meeting.
6. New Business
a) Finance Director Roland reviewed with the board the 2003 audit.
b) The 2005 budget had its preliminary review. Board to review for comments at a later meeting.

Motion by Krueger to approve the bills in the amount of $69,500.29. Second by Jensen. APIF,
motion carried.

Financial Report: was received.
9. Open Forum

a) Dale Bauer has been selected to mow the Water Board lots for the rest of 2004. This requires
formal action of the Water Board.
10. Meeting adjourned at 8:35pm.
