MINUTES
WATER BOARD REGULAR MEETING
Monday, August 23, 2004
7:00 PM
1.
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 PM
Members Present: Shirley, Jensen
Member Absent: Krueger
Staff Present: City Engineer Mann, Administrative Assistant Larson
Agenda was approved with the addition of Wellhead Protection Plan Update under new
business.

Motion by Shirley to approve the July 26, 2004 minutes, seconded by Jensen. APIF, motion
carried.
4.
Water Use Restrictions - Citation Appeals
a) Diane Goethel, 19717 Everhill Avenue: They were not at home that day and do not typically
water their yard. It may have been the neighbors watering the garden at the back of their yard.
Citation was waived due to it not being her sprinkler.
b) Network Management Co., for Glenview Townhomes: Greg Eppich, 1061 Willow Trail,
presented a letter from the irrigation company (CLW Landscaping, LLC, out of Hastings)
stating that they were adjusting sprinkler heads that day and that they were not watering the
lawn. Citation was waived.
c) James & Sue Banks, 18599 Explorer Way: Not present. Correspondence reviewed, citation
stands as issued.
City Engineer Mann joined the meeting a t 7:15pm.
5. Continued Discussion Items
a) East Farmington Fountain: Project was finished by Sauber last week.
6. New Business
a) Well site maintenance contract. Motion by Shirley to approve the contract with Dale Bauer,
seconded by Jensen. APIF, motion carried.

b) Wellhead Protection Plan Update: The Department of Health approved the plan that was
submitted, the next step is to hold a public meeting. Motion by Jensen, second by Shirley to
hold a public meeting on September 27,2004. APIF, motion carried.
Motion by Shirley to approve the bills in the amount of $37,235.29. Second by Jensen. APIF,
motion carried.
8. Financial Report: was received, reviewed, and accepted.
