WATER BOARD REGULAR MEETING
December 26, 2001
7:00 PM
1.
Member Krueger called the meeting to order.
Members Present: Jensen, Krueger
Members Present via phone: Shirley
Staff Present: City Engineer Mann
Agenda was approved as presented.

A motion was made by Krueger and seconded by Jensen to approve the minutes of the November
26th meeting. Voting for, Jensen and Krueger. Abstaining, Shirley.
4.
Water Use Citation Appeals
a) Final Resolution of 11/26/01 appeal. Information was received and the citation was upheld. (Brian
Feldt, 19228 Enchanted Way)
5. Continued Discussion Items
a) Well #6 & #7 Update: Construction is proceeding anticipated.
b) Middle Creek Trunk Water Main Extension: Bids to be taken on January 24th, 2002.

c) Water Use Restrictions Publication: Final format approved, the Water Board is very pleased with
the document.
6.
New Business
a) Proposed Conservation Education Plan for 2002. Plan approved, the Board suggested a budgetary
amount be set aside each year for the plan.
7. A motion was made by Krueger, and seconded by Jensen to approve the bills in the amount of
$11,882.67. APIF, motion carried.

9. Open Forum
a) Items discussed.
. Painting of old tower - staff to analyze timing of project in relation to cash flow issues.
. Sealing of Well #2 - no new information.
. Water leak on Elm Street - The Board acknowledged repair made by City staff.
. Rate Study - The Water Board requested that the rate study spreadsheet be brought back
showing the cash flow implications of paying off the bonds for the water tower. Also, the
Board requested verification that the bonds can be called anytime after 2002.
